The need for living donors is at an all time high. Most recipients in need of an organ donation (be it kidney, liver, etc.) are forced to wait an extensive period of time for the opportunity to receive the necessary organ from a deceased donor. Live donors can cut that waiting time in half, or more, by their selfless decision to register as a live donor. You can also register to donate bone marrow or to give blood.
